Christian Rygh’s “micro-ecological” mapping experiment won two prestigious awards from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in 2002. Scores of insect species were mapped and analyzed in relation to factors such as weed management and proximity to ripe, unripe, or flowering bananas. More information is available upon request.
