Thematic Maps

Thematic maps can illustrate any spatial variable imaginable as long as they are based on similar geographic units and data collection standards. Examples of thematic maps include: number of disco clubs per town, ethnic composition per census tract, number of voters per congressional district, number of violent crimes by county, top three agricultural commodities per state, gross domestic export by country, etc.

Illustrative thematic maps can be made to order for your presentations/publications. Most forms of raw location data or spatial statistics are more easily interpreted with an effective thematic map.
